• All the necessary labor and parts necessary to bring your laptop back to working   condition with regards to the dc power jack, OEM AC Power Adapter and OEM Battery.

• We ship you a specialty container to properly protect your laptop for shipping. Inside the container there will be packing instructions a small roll of packing tape and a Prepaid return label to ship your laptop, battery, and AC Adapter to us.

When we receive your laptop we will:

• We will test your AC Adapter for proper voltage and output. If the adapter does not test successfully you will be notified of this prior to any work being performed.

• We will test your laptop battery for proper operation and output. If the battery does not test successfully you will be notified of this prior to any work being performed.

• Disassemble your laptop and remove the motherboard.

• De-solder and remove the existing broken dc power jack from your laptop motherboard.

• Clean and prepare your laptop motherboard contacts in preparation for the new DC Power Jack.

• Install a new DC Power Jack and re-solder it to your laptop motherboard.

• Reassemble your laptop.

• Test your laptop for proper operation with your AC Adapter and your laptop battery.

After performing the OEM AC Adapter tests and the OEM Battery tests a GETATECH technician will notify you if there is a problem with either item and inform you of the additional cost to repair or replace the problematic part. If you decide not to repair or replace the OEM AC Adapter or the OEM Battery, or under unusual circumstances GETATECH is unable to repair your laptop, GETATECH will refund the cost of the repair minus shipping costs. 

All shipping is done at the lowest possible costs.  This is normally the ground services of USPS, FedEx or UPS.

Expedited 3 day turn around :

If you are in dire need of your laptop, the repair can be expedited. The cost of this can be exorbitant due to shipping costs.

Day 1: You ship your laptop to us priority over night for AM delivery using your packaging. We cannot be responsible for the condition we receive your laptop. Make sure it is packaged properly.

Day 2: We repair your Laptop DC Power Jack and complete all tests.  We then ship it back to you priority over night for AM delivery.

Day 3: You receive your laptop back packaged in our specialty container in working order with a 90 Day Warranty*.
